Altelix 14x11x9 Heated Polycarbonate + ABS NEMA 4X DIN Rail Enclosure with 50W Heater, 120 VAC Outlets & Power Cord

The Altelix NP141109HA1C-DIN NEMA 4X heated enclosure is simple to install because no wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. It is ideal for protecting DIN rail mounted devices from harsh environments and tampering.

Get your project up and running quickly and transition to hard-wired later if needed. The power cord can removed and the power receptacle can be hard-wired by a qualified installer.

Available with (2) or (4) 120VAC Power Outlets
This enclosure is available with either (2) or (4) internal pre-wired 120VAC power outlets used to provide power to installed equipment. Mounted to the bottom of the enclosure they do not interfere with the area used for installing equipment.

50W Thermostat Controlled Heater
This enclosure is equipped for harsh weather and cold environments. It features a DIN rail mounted thermostat controlled 50W heater. This heater generates a high air-current of warm air due to the design which supports natural convection. The internal design of this heater helps reduce the surface temperatures on the accessible sides of the housing. The heater turns on when the internal temperature reaches 41°F (5°C) and turns off when it rises to 59°F (15°C). The heater is wired internally leaving the power outlets available for your equipment.

Install 35mm Top Hat DIN Rails in Base and Lid
This enclosure provides multiple ways to install the (3) included 35mm top hat DIN rails. Raised bosses located in both the base and lid provide (4) DIN rail mounting locations in the base and (3) DIN rail mounting locations in the lid. Additional DIN rails kits can be purchased from Altelix (see accessory section). A large flat section in both the base and lid are also provided for use with the hook-n-loop tape included in the accessory kit.

RF Transparent Design
The NP141109HA1C-DIN is ideal for WiFi applications. The non-metallic design of the enclosure will not interfere with the radio's operation. The size of this enclosure will fit a wide range of popular wireless access points on the market.

Secure Your Equipment
These NP series enclosures feature dual stainless steel quick release latches. A stainless steel security screw with keys and a provision for a padlock are also provided.

Polycarbonate + ABS Protection Built to Last
This enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Polycarbonate + ABS, an industrial grade plastic with greater strength and durability than standard ABS. This enclosure can be easily drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements It meets or exceeds NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4X, 12, 13 and IEC 529 IP65, IP66.

Complete with Cable Grommets and Wire Management Accessories
This enclosure includes an assortment of cable grommets and cable glands that can be installed in the knock-out holes for a weather resistant seal. Also included in the accessory kit are wall anchors, zip ties, wire management loops, hook-n-loop tape, ground wire, (2) door locking keys and more.

Multiple Mounting Options
This enclosure features (4) external mounting feet which can be used for wall mounting or with our optional pole mounting kit. Mounting points are also provided inside the enclosure. These can be easily drilled out and used for applications requiring a more secure installation.
