Internal 6U 19" Equipment Rack
The NF162012VFA1C-R6U features a standard 19" 6U equipment rack. It is designed to accommodate a wide range of equipment such as network switches, rack mount audio/video equipment and most other rack mountable equipment. The rack frame mounts to a 2.0mm thick aluminum plate which can also be drilled and modified by the installer to unique site requirements.

Installation Note: The max. depth of the 4U rack is 9.5" (241mm). Before ordering please check the dimensions of the equipment to be installed to ensure proper fit.

Plug and Play Power for Rapid Deployment
The Altelix NF162012VFA1C-R6U enclosure is ideal for rapid deployment because no wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. Two pre-wired 120VAC power outlets inside the enclosure provide power to your equipment.

Get your project up and running quickly and transition to hard-wired later if needed. The power cord can be easily removed and the quick-connect terminal strip simplifies hard-wiring by a qualified installer.

Dual Cooling Fans Ventilation
This enclosure features dual 4" vents and dual thermostat controlled cooling fans. The low noise, high airflow fans help maintain lower internal temperatures by providing air flow through the enclosure. The fans turn on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). Both fans are wired internally so they do not require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for internal equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure.

Extreme Protection Built to Last
This rugged JIC style NEMA box is molded from durable UV stable and corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP material is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment. It can be easily drilled and modified by the installer as needed. These enclosures feature improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins for lasting durability in even the harshest of coastal conditions. The gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.

Cable Glands
The enclosure features our unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal. They are installed in the open ports to maintain the NEMA rating of the enclosure when not in use. When required for use, simply punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal.
