The Altelix NFC Series Air Conditioned Weatherproof NEMA 4X Enclosures are ideal for protecting sensitive equipment from harsh environments and tampering. The digitally controlled air conditioning system helps maintain optimal internal temperatures so internally mounted equipment can operate at peak performance. This enclosure is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Maintenance Free Air Conditioning System
These enclosures feature a digitally controlled air conditioning system. Mounted externally on the enclosure to maximize interior space, this system provides 360 BTU of cooling. Operation of this system is done via a programmable digital temperature controller. Air conditioning Turn-On/Turn-Off temperatures can be  programmed within a set range temperature set by the user. The entire system is housed in a rugged powder coated steel housing and is mounted to the front of the enclosure. Power for this system is provided by one of the four internal 120VAC power outlets. An external drain on the air-conditioner unit is provided to direct any condensation to outside the enclosure.

Designed to be maintenance free, this Air-Conditioning system features no moving components (except for fan), no compressor, refrigerant or filters to be changed. The reliable solid state construction ensures a long operational life span.

Thermal Insulation
To help maintain internal temperatures, this enclosure features 0.50 inch (12.7mm) thick insulation attached to the interior of the enclosure.

Construction and Features
This rugged NEMA 4X/IP66 rated enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The lockable door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure and is locked and unlocked using the included removable keys. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is wet.

Plug and Play
These enclosures feature a 5 foot pre-wired power cord to provide power to the (2) internal 120VAC outlets, so no additional wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure then plug the power cord into a 120VAC outlet.

Equipment Mounting Plate
The equipment mounting plate is provided for mounting and securing equipment. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

Cable Glands
The enclosure features our unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal. They are installed in the open ports to maintain the NEMA rating of the enclosure when not in use. When required for use, simply punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal.

Mounting
Four mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. Optional flange and pole mounting kits are available. Click Here to view all available mounts for these enclosures.

Optional Lockable Latches
For additional protection of internal equipment installed, three lockable latches are available. The HN-0005 is a keyed lock set which includes two keys. Similar to the HN-0005, the HN-0001 has an interlock feature that traps the key when it is in the unlocked position. The HN-0006 allows the enclosure to be securely locked via use of a padlock (not included). All of these optional lockable latches are direct replacements for the standard quarter-turn latches that come pre-installed in the enclosures.
