Altelix Vented Deck Mount Enclosure - 14x12x6 Fiberglass FRP

The Altelix NF141206DV Vented Deck Mount Enclosure is ideal for protecting devices from harsh environments and tampering while allowing ventilation for installed equipment. Downward facing vent shrouds mounted on the side of the enclosure helps prevent water and falling debris from entering.

Designed for Deck Mount Applications
The NF141206DV is intended for installation on flat surfaces such as roofs or floors, under raised floors, mounted on top of pergolas and cabanas, or any application requiring a low profile enclosure or ground-level installations. Optional pole mount kits are also available to mount the enclosure to pipes or truss systems.

Equipment Mounting Options
This enclosure provides multiple ways to install equipment. Raised bosses located in the base of this enclosure can be used to mount an equipment plate. In addition to the raised bosses this enclosure can be purchased with either an Aluminum or Non-Metallic PVC equipment mounting plates or a 35mm DIN Rail kit. The 2.5mm thick aluminum equipment mounting plate can be easily drilled and modified by the installer. Ideal for wireless applications, the non-metallic RF transparent PVC equipment mounting plate features a No-Drill design. Mounting radios and other equipment can be easily done simply by using self-tapping screws.

The DIN rail kit features two heavy duty 12 gauge DIN rail mounting brackets that provide 10 DIN rail mounting locations. Two pre-cut steel 35mm Top Hat DIN Rails are also provided.

Extreme Protection Built to Last
This rugged JIC style NEMA enclosure is molded from durable UV stable and corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP material is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment. It can be easily drilled and modified by the installer as needed. It features a gasketed door with stainless steel continuous hinge and stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps. The generous size of this enclosure accommodates a wide range of equipment.

Cable Glands
The enclosure features three unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal. They are installed in the open ports to maintain the NEMA rating of the enclosure when not in use. When required for use, simply punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal.

Mounting
Stainless steel mounting feet are included and attach to the rear of the enclosure. Optional flange and pole/pipe mounting kits are available in the accessories section.
