Altelix Weatherproof Dual Sonos® AMP Enclosure with 120 VAC Outlets & Power Cord

The Altelix NF16 Series Sonos® AMP Enclosure is designed to provide indoor or outdoor protection for up to (2) Sonos® AMP Streaming Amplifiers. This enclosure is simple to install because no wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. (4) internal pre-wired 120VAC power outlets are provided to power the Sonos® AMP as well as any additional equipment installed.

Plug and Play Installation
This enclosure features a mounting system designed specifically for use with the SONOS® AMP to keep it securely mounted inside the enclosure. Easy to use, simply attach the included locking cam to the bottom of the SONOS® Amp, then slide the SONOS® AMP into the bracket until it locks into place. A release tab is provided to remove the SONOS® AMP from the bracket. Mirrors installed inside the enclosure provide visibility to controls and indicator lights on the installed Sonos® AMPs. Provisions are provided to mount additional cooling fans inside the enclosure.

19" Vertical Equipment Rack Frame
The Sonos mounting system attaches to a vertical 19" equipment rack inside the enclosure. This equipment rack frame can also be used to install additional rack mountable equipment.

Removable Access Panel/Power Module
This enclosure features a gasketed aluminum access panel/power module. Removing this panel provides access to the bottom of the enclosure. Two cable glands are provided on the panel for wiring.

Multi-Cable Cable Glands
Pre-installed are (2) of our unique multi-cable cable glands. These cable glands can accommodate up to five pe-terminated cables. This helps reduce the number of cable glands needed and allows the cables to be better bundled together.

Dual Cooling Fans Ventilation
This enclosure features dual 4" vents and dual thermostat-controlled cooling fans. The low noise, high airflow fans help maintain lower internal temperatures by providing air flow through the enclosure. The fans turn on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turn off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). Both fans are wired internally so they do not require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for internal equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure.

Extreme Protection Built to Last
This rugged JIC style NEMA box is molded from durable UV stable and corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP material is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment. It can be easily drilled and modified by the installer as needed. These enclosures feature improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins for lasting durability in even the harshest of coastal conditions. The gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.

Mounting
