Altelix 16x20x12 Fiberglass Weatherproof NEMA Equipment Rack Enclosure

The Altelix NF16 Series Fiberglass Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure is a versatile, configurable solution designed to protect and house 19" rack-mounted equipment in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Built from rugged fiberglass reinforced polyester, this enclosure offers excellent resistance to UV exposure, moisture, and corrosion while maintaining a professional, clean installation.

Multiple Rack Configurations
This updated design provides maximum flexibility with multiple rack configurations, including a 19" 2U slanted rack for shallow equipment access, a heavy-duty 4U vertical rack for standard deployments, or an adjustable 6U rack for higher-density installations. This allows the enclosure to accommodate a wide range of networking, audio/video, industrial, and telecom equipment in a compact footprint.

Flexible Ventilation and Cooling Options
To support varying environmental conditions, the enclosure is now available in several ventilation configurations. Users can select a sealed non-vented design for maximum protection, passive vents for natural airflow, or vented models with thermostat-controlled 120VAC cooling fans for active heat management—ideal for higher power equipment installations.

Modular Bottom Access Panel System
A new modular bottom access system enhances installation flexibility. The enclosure includes a gasketed blank aluminum access panel on the bottom, which can be easily replaced with accessory panels to meet specific project requirements. This panel can also be easily drilled and modified to meet specific application requirements.

Customizable Power and Cooling Expansion
Optional accessory panels are available with integrated vents, thermostat-controlled cooling fans, and pre-wired 120VAC power outlets, allowing installers to easily add airflow or power without modifying the enclosure. Extreme Protection Built to Last
These rugged JIC style NEMA enclosures are molded from durable UV stable and corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP material is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment. It can be easily drilled and modified by the installer as needed. These enclosures feature improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins for lasting durability in even the harshest of coastal environments. The gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.
