Altelix Weatherproof Enclosure for Sonance® UA Series Amplifiers

The Altelix Weatherproof Enclosure for Sonance® UA Series amplifiers is a secure, all‑in‑one solution for deploying high‑performance audio systems in indoor or outdoor environments. Designed specifically to house Sonance UA series amplifiers, this rugged polycarbonate enclosure protects valuable equipment from weather, tampering, and accidental damage—while maintaining reliable thermal performance.

Engineered for both residential and commercial installations, the enclosure allows the amplifier to be safely installed in locations where conventional rack mounting is impractical. Integrated cooling, simplified power distribution, and flexible cable entry make installation fast and professional.

Cooling Fan Ventilation
The Altelix Sonance® UA Series amplifier enclosure features dual vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure.

Plug-n-Play Installation
Included with this enclosure is a 1.5mm thick aluminum plate for mounting pre-drilled to accept the UA 2-125 and UA 2-125 ARC amplifiers. A unique power cable provides power to both the internal cooling fan and amplifier.

Secure Your Equipment
These NP series enclosures feature a gasketed lid with dual stainless steel quick release latches. A stainless steel security screw with keys and a provision for a padlock are also provided.

Polycarbonate + ABS Protection Built to Last
This enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Polycarbonate + ABS, an industrial grade plastic with greater strength and durability than standard ABS. This enclosure can be easily drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

Multi-Port Cable Gland
Pre-installed is our unique multi-cable cable gland. This cable gland can accommodate up to five pre-terminated cables such as Audio or HDMI cables. This helps reduce the number of cable glands needed and allows the cables to be better bundled together. Plugs are provided to seal any unused ports in the cable gland.

Multiple Mounting Options
This enclosure features (4) external mounting feet which can be used for wall mounting or with our optional pole mounting kit. Mounting points are also provided inside the enclosure. These can be easily drilled out and used for applications requiring a more secure installation.

Customization
We offer numerous standard models and options including equipment mounting plates, DIN rails, AC or DC power, air vents, cooling fans and heaters and more.
